The Ministry of the Environment presented the current status of efforts towards Fukushima's reconstruction at the 14th Meeting of the Japan - France Nuclear Cooperation Committee.

The 14th Meeting of the Japan - France Nuclear Cooperation Committee was held at Paris, France, where the Ministry of the Environment presented the progress of its environmental remediation and leading cases of managed recycling initiatives launched from the Prime Minister's Office and central government ministries and agencies. During the meeting, Chairman of the Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) expressed congratulations on the excellent progress made regarding Fukushima-related initiatives and stated her intention to continue cooperating going forward.
