The Ministry of the Environment held an exhibition at the COP30 Japan Pavilion introducing initiatives for the environmental regeneration of Fukushima.

The Ministry of the Environment exhibited information on environmental regeneration projects and reconstruction efforts in Fukushima at the Japan Pavilion during COP 30, held in Belém, Brazil, from 10 November 2025.

Regarding recovery efforts following the accident at the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake, we gave an introduction to the progress of reconstruction and the Ministry of the Environment's environmental restoration projects. Many visitors from around the world viewed the exhibits with great interest and listened to the explanations from staff members.
