The Managed Recycling at the Prime Minister's Office

Today, the Minister of the Environment announced the policy to be implemented at the Prime Minister's Office for the managed recycling of removed soil, following instructions from the Chief Cabinet Secretary regarding accelerating efforts for the managed recycling of removed soil with a view to achieving the final disposal outside Fukushima Prefecture of removed soil arising from decontamination activities in Fukushima prefecture.

Necessary preparations will be promptly made to enable construction to be carried out within July. This will be the first case of the managed recycling.
