Site Visit by the Diplomatic Corps to the Interim Storage Facility

Fukushima Prefecture and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-hosted the “Fukushima Revitalization Tour” for the diplomatic corps in Japan to visit Fukushima Prefecture from October 10 to 11. The tour focused on the Hamadori Region, including the Interim Storage Facility, the site of the Fukushima Environmental Restoration Project being undertaken by the Ministry of the Environment. The tour provided participants with a deeper understanding of the current situation in Fukushima, where reconstruction is progressing.
