Visit by the Swedish Delegation to the Ministry of the Environment, Japan and Fukushima Environmental Restoration Sites

The Swedish delegation visited the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) on Tuesday, November 14. The MOEJ explained its initiatives for the Fukushima environmental restoration project, including off-site decontamination, and exchanged views with the delegation.
The delegation also visited the Recycling Demonstration Project Area in Nagadoro District, Iitate Village on Wednesday, November 15, and the Interim Storage Facility on Friday, November 17, to see firsthand and deepen the understanding of the current situation in Fukushima.
